The end of February 2026 marks another milestone for STS, as it signals the start of our tenth trading year since the relaunch of an independent STS on 28th February 2017, following the collapse of our previous ownership as part of The Cordell Group.
In the intervening decade, our profile has continued to grow as one of the longest-established and most significant specialists in the London and Southeast region. STS (Southern Technical Services) Limited was established in 1993 with a clear vision to provide exceptional electrical installation and control panel solutions to a wide range of commercial, industrial and public sectors. We have achieved many milestones, including the award of leading industry accreditations from CHAS, SafeContractor and Neutral Carbon Zone and continue to build on our Health & Safety and Quality processes to meet the increasing challenges and evolving regulations demanded from our industry.
2025 posted turnover figures of £6.0M – an exceptional performance considering our move to new offices and panelshop facility in Fleet, Hampshire after 14 years trading from Maidstone, Kent plus integration of new accounts and management software into our company operations. I want to take this opportunity to thank all our clients, both established and new, for your trust in us and new business which will take STS into 2026 and 2027. These achievements have been welcomed by our shareholders Dhabi Contracting and we can look forward to their continued and valuable support.
None of this would be possible without the hard-earned reputation for excellent service and quality that our team has been able to build up (in its various guises) over the last 32 years.
